The Challenge

The product was modern and ambitious, but the brand didn’t show it. Origin Group needed an identity that matched its technology, signaled leadership in a competitive market, and guided a smooth transition from the old name without losing trust from existing customers.

The Solution

We began with in-depth research and competitive analysis to understand trends, expectations, and the gaps we could own. From those insights came a clear positioning and messaging framework that highlighted Origin Group’s speed, precision, and reliability. The visual system followed: a logo that speaks to innovation and exactness, a modern palette, and typography engineered for clarity across interfaces and content. We documented everything in practical guidelines, built a consistent voice for product and marketing, and crafted narratives for the website, social channels, and campaigns. A phased rollout introduced the new identity internally first, aligning teams on story and usage, then launched externally with a targeted campaign to build awareness and excitement.

Implementation and Results

Over six months, strategy moved into design and activation. The market response was strong: customers and industry stakeholders welcomed the modernized identity, recognition rose within the spreadsheet software space, and in the first quarter website traffic and social engagement increased by about 30 percent.
